Thinking about how "A child needs her mother," is THE MOST ROMANTIC thing Joan Ferguson could have said to Vera in that last moment, and I will die on this hill.

Sure, it's referring to Joan's own traumatic past involving her mother, and maybe Joan genuinely believes that, but it's way more.

After obsessing over, stalking, and tormenting Vera for years, there was almost nothing that she could say, even after saving her, that wouldn't seem threatening. I remember some people wanted some kind of verbal love confession or something, and amongst other things, Joan literally just had the revelation, "I'd rather not kill Vera," a couple episodes ago, so I'm not sure she's at the full emotional maturity level of verbalizing, "I love you."

BUT mostly, I think she knows it would be the WRONG THING TO SAY.

That is not the face of a woman who needs to hear, "I love you," from the woman whom she just found out had tried to kidnap her baby.

The thing is, I don't think the answer is necessarily what she says. I think it's what she does.

THAT'S the answer. Joan reaching for Vera's hand IS the "I love you," but in a way, so is what she says next. Again, Vera just almost broke her streak of being the only person not trying to kill Joan Ferguson because she found out Joan was trying to KIDNAP HER BABY (who I don't think Joan *really* cares that much about aside from her value to Vera and some hilariously sick claim in her mind having created the circumstances for her conception).

Again, NOT the face of someone who is going to be receptive to "I love you."

So Joan does possibly the only completely unselfish thing she's ever done regarding Vera. She lets her go. And instead of unburdening herself in this moment, which might be what she needs, she instead gives Vera what SHE needs. An assurance that Vera and Grace are safe from her.

And that's when Vera understands.

No. The hymen is literally just part of your vagina-It usually partially covers the opening of your vagina [though some people are born with it covering the entire opening of their vagina] and it can wear down with age but it does not "break" and it rarely tears at the simplest penetration.

It can tear, which usually causes no pain, and little blood. But it also stretches, like the rest of your vagina. There's a possibility it could tear but it's unlikely unless you're shoving something inside your vagina super hard.

Hymens can survive giving birth. As long as you're not violently inserting your menstrual cup/disk, you should be fine.

Let me be clear: if your hymen breaks enough to show and your OB/GYN sees it and tells your mom, your OB/GYN is a misogynist and a creep. It's their job to know that 1. hymen breakage can just happen sometimes and B. your hypothetical sex life is not your mother's business.

But this isn't me saying it can't happen. It's not a huge possibility but it's a possibility all the same. Hymens thin and can wear down over time, which can vary wildly from person to person. That can lead to tearing but you can hugely reduce that risk by being gentle and taking your time.

..."Killing soulless sam"? Nobody killed soulless Sam (except Sam himself, metaphorically in 6.22). Soulless Sam (or the base desires he represented) remained inside of Sam's body when Sam's soul was reinstalled. What happened to him was that he lost control. He was essentially Sam's id, and the superego and ego came back with Sam's soul and Sam's ego took control of Sam's body. Soulless Sam was still there as the id, as we explicitly see in 6.22.

Some samgirls have a bizarre attachment to the notion that soulless Sam was a victim. He was not a victim. He has never been a victim. He never will be a victim. He's a piece of shit who was enthusiastic about victimizing others whenever it served his own self-interest. He killed multiple people for being inconvenient/in his way when he was hunting (6.08, 6.13, 6.22). While at a certain point, he was able to dispassionately recognize that he was dangerous because he had no conscience (6.01, 6.08), his response to that knowledge was ultimately that he didn't actually care and he would continue to hurt and use and lie to people whenever it was "practical", and that actually all the other people with consciences were the problem because they couldn't act purely "rationally" like him. He would say he was messed up and needed Dean to serve as his conscience (6.01, 6.08) and tell Dean he needed him to be his full time care taker for the rest of time and then in the next scene he'd want Dean to fall in line behind him and agree with his every "practical" action and accept being lied to and used (explicitly including sexually) because soulless Sam knows best. In other words, there was never any reasoning with him—he only pretended there was as a strategy to keep Dean around as a useful tool. At no point was he victimized by Dean. He victimized Dean. After a certain point, it became quite clear that Dean's options were to get the real Sam back into his body or put a bullet in soulless Sam's head because he had and would continue to hunt and kill innocent people whenever it was convenient and had and would continue to lie to and use Dean. He begins to question if he actually wants it back only at the very end of 6.10. In the episode where his soul is put back (6.11), his last real conversation with Dean is him telling Dean he trusts him and that he will allow his soul to be put back. It is only after Dean leaves that it's revealed that soulless Sam was lying to Dean (again), and that he simply preferred murdering Bobby to having an honest conversation. And this only reinforced that he was a disgusting, dangerous pyscho who would lie and murder and use people whenever convenient for him because he does not give a shit about anyone and ultimately sees every single person around him as an object or tool for his amusement. He was a sick, dangerous creep, and Sam explicitly chooses of his own free will not to let him have control of his body again in 6.22. Sam instead kills him and accepts his memories of hell.

I was very interested in what Seto and Mokuba's biological parents must have looked like. Unfortunately, you don't see any of them in the manga. But the family must have been very wealthy. Otherwise, relatives of the Kaiba brothers would not be interested in their inheritance. The mother died shortly after Mokuba's birth and the father died later in a car accident. Seto Kaiba and Priest Seto look quite similar. The difference is the hair length, the skin color and the high cheekbones that seem to be typical of Egyptians. The same goes for Ishizu.So we can possibly assume that the parents of Seto's Egyptian counterpart were also his parents. But Aknadin is already quite old and his wife's hair was covered by a cloth. We know that Seto has brown hair and blue eyes. Mokuba, on the other hand, has black hair and violet eyes. If you look at the young Aknadin, his beard is a darker gray. In the manga he is even colored completely black. So I'm assuming his hair was originally black. This would also make sense because his brother Aknamkanon had the same beard color. And Atemu has mostly black hair. So his father must have had black hair too. However, in the picture I depicted Seto's father with the dark brown beard. Mokuba has violet eyes, just like Atemu. so it's likely that Aknadin and Aknamkanon also have violet eyes. So I give the father Mokuba's eye color. Aknadin has very long, parted hair. Since it's not common to wear hair that long in the modern world, I simply shortened it. Since I consider the family to be quite wealthy, the father was given a white suit. For the mother, the only hair color left was brown and the eye color blue. I based her hair a lot on Seto, because her father had a hairstyle that didn't really resemble Seto. Since I was thinking about their appearance, I wanted to think of appropriate names. Because Seto and Mokuba mean "seahorse" and "wooden horse", I thought of using a last name that also includes the word horse. I chose Umamoto, i.e. "horse origin". Aknadin is a derivative of Akhenaten. This was an Egyptian pharaoh. Its name means "Effective for Aton" and Aton means solar disk. So I looked for Japanese names that meant sun and decided on Hinata, meaning sunny place. The mother has no name. That's why I chose Himiko. Himiko was the name of an ancient Japanese queen. The name also means “sun daughter” and “shame queen”. This name is a reference to the name of Aknadin.

So the parents are called Hinata and Himiko Umamoto. And this is what they would look like if they were both still alive.
